Gordon van der Spuy

Gordon van der Spuy is an actor and author based in Cape Town. Best known for his widely successful first (and only) book, The Feather Mechanic, Gordon has made a name for himself in the fly fishing world due to his insightful, humorous approach to this art form. Despite the fact that the book started as a lockdown project, it has quickly received critical acclaim for its revolutionary new approach. Gordon’s first print edition sold out internationally and he is now running a second round of printing to meet growing international demand!
