Sujay Sanan

Sujay Swadi Sanan grew up in the Himalayas and now lives in Cape Town with his partner and son. He has been fascinated by the natural world for as long as he can remember, and drawing has always been the means through which he has been able to show appreciation for the living planet.

Sanan graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from the National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad) India and thereafter co-founded Quick Brown Fox. He had always incorporated illustration into his commercial work, leading to his desire to see his own voice. Sanan began working on his first body of work as an artist after moving to South Africa in 2013. Since then he has gravitated to the world of painting and now works almost exclusively on his art.
