The Capetonian
The Capetonian, born out of the infamous Covid-19 Lockdown, is a collection of spunky, fictional magazine covers from every angle of the mother city. The Capetonian “mock” magazine covers are created in collaboration with various illustrators and designers who present their most prized views of Cape Town. A tribute to the spirit and style of the iconic New Yorker, and Parisianer covers – every visual is a moment in the city, captured through anothers’ eye and pen for all to enjoy.
The sale of every artwork also goes towards raising funds to look after the kids at Siyaphambili Orphanage.
